New ProductsThe SkateMaster is no ordinary skateboard. Unlike your conventional skateboards the SkateMaster is electric and has a powerful motor attached with a separate transmitter to control your speed. Gone are the days where you need to push with one leg to get speed up, just squeeze the trigger on the handheld remote control unit and off you go.
It might seem like a skateboard for lazy people but the arrival of the SkateMaster now means virtually anyone can hop on and be an expert Skateboarder in seconds. The principal is the still the same, you steer by leaning to either side, but because this is motor driven you can spend more time concentrating on the direction you want to go.
The SkateMaster is powered by a sealed DC electric motor which will decelerate the board. This means that the speed can be precisely controlled using the handheld remote control unit. It should be used on smooth terrain and in dry conditions due to electrical components inside.
The battery should take approximately 120 minutes to charge, this will last depending on how the SkateMaster is used, the weight of the rider and the terrain, it can last up to 10 miles.
The performance of the SkateMaster will vary upon how it is used and the weight of the rider. The recommended weight is displayed below (although we did have someone far heavier than this on it).
There are two models available. The basic difference in the size of the FT-1 and FT-2 is the size of the board.
