This may just look like a little plank but there is actually a bit more to it than it first seems. This is the new Wooden Clock, an elegant time piece which is basically a piece of well-sanded timber. Switch it on and the digits light up through the wood giving you a rustic but hi-tec desktop clock.

The Wooden Clock measures 21cm x 12cm and is ideal for your desk in the office or bedside table at home. The clock has 3 display modes which allow you to change the way in which the digits flash. In Mode A the colon flashes every 0.5 seconds, Mode B the hours and minutes flash every 2.5 seconds and Mode C the digits flash from left to right in a 1 minute cycle. Choice of 12/24h time format.

Gepetto did to Pinocchio what the designers of the Wooden clock did with a lump of wood. The only difference being that this clock will not lie, due to smart bit of electrical engineering it should keep pretty accurate time(and there are no strings attached!).

The Wooden Clock might be similar in many ways to a bit of 6x4, but it should add that bit of class to any desk or bedside table.

Short of turning a tree into a clock you cannot get more of a natural looking clock than the Wooden Clock. Simple but sophisticated, natural yet technologically advanced. A nice bit of wood.
