Wine Tasting for Beginners is fun, friendly and informal but informative at the same time. All required material will be provided. No previous wine knowledge is needed, as this course will help you to understand wine, to learn to appreciate it and to give you the confidence to choose the wines you enjoy. All you need need for this wine tasting experience is just to turn up! Who said learning can’t be fun?

What happens on the day
On arrival you’ll be welcomed and introduced to the rest of the group. The morning session will be partly theoretical, dealing with how the wine is made and different styles of wine. Then on to the practical element when you will taste and discuss seven different high quality wines before breaking for lunch.
The afternoon will involve tasting a further seven types of wine and again these will be discussed and then re-tasted with small samples of selected foods. You will also learn how to choose a wine in a restaurant or shop, spot faults in wine and how to store and serve your wine. Cheers!
