The Ice Orb is like no other ice cube tray. It makes ice vertically, which has a few advantages over a conventional ice cube tray. It's spill proof, allows the ice cubes to be removed easily and takes up less shelf space in your freezer. It can also be used to store the ice cubes and can be used a cooler for your wine or champagne.

The Ice Orb as the name suggests also makes nice 'Ice Orbs' instead of cubes. To make the novel shaped spheroids, simply fill the silicon shell to the marked line, insert the inner bucket and place it in the freezer. The water is kept in spheroid formation until you later pop it free as ice. Just watch the video below.
