In the UK we only tend to take notice of sports we're good at. Take Curling for example, not many knew what it was all about before a few Scottish women showed the world that we're actually quite good at throwing a few big ice cubes around. On the other hand we're not that great at football.

If you want a to liven up your office then get yourself involved with some good old Desktop Curling, it's a team sport so you can also get your colleagues involved for that all essential team building exercise. Whilst one person on a team throws, bowls or slides the desktop equivalent of the ice cube (stone) the others can sweep.

You just need a desk (which most offices tend to have in abundance) instead of an ice rink,  attach the sticky-backed target to your desk, clear a bit of space and begin to curl. Take it in turns to slide your stones (or in this case, coloured plastic things with ball bearings in them), getting as close to the centre of the target as you can.
